I am not fond of eating outside. I'd prefer cooking my own food, not only it's healthy and clean it's also guaranteed that my food is Halal. Moreover, I am also a student and being a student, my schedule is pack and fully occupied with loads of work.
That's why I cook simple things but still edible at the same time. Today I am making my simple ' happy spirals'
It is bright in color and pack full of nutrients hence the 'happy spirals'
Recipe (Serves 4 people )
Spiral pasta
1/2 of Red Onion
3 cloves of Garlic
10-12 medium size prawn
1 sausage
Carrot
Tomato
Scallion
1/2 cup of Prego bolognese sauce (or any other brand)
1/2 cup of milk
2 slices of cheddar cheese
1 tbsp of cream cheese
2 tbsp of butter
Salt, pepper and sugar for taste.
The method is very simple. First, melt the butter, then add in red onion and garlic, saute till fragrant. Next, add in sausage and prawn and cook until tender. Add in the bolognese sauce and stir till it thicken a little bit, add in carrot and cook until tender, add in milk, cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Put in salt, sugar and pepper for taste.
Next add in the boiled spirals and stir well. Mix in scallion and tomato and walla, we're done :)
